Our Technology Center includes a 16 station computer lab and use of tablets for adults and youth at our facility.
Senior Citizens Learn for Free – 60+ Six week Introduction to Computers Class
This class is open to all adults and will last longer than six weeks. This is a set your goals and move at your own pace class and ends when you have met your goals.
Adult Computer Literacy for the Workplace – Free for all adults – a Hybrid course (instructor led/online course) – Four Weeks – This evening class is for working adults looking to improve employability. Registration starts in March and is limited to 10 students. Class is $35.
Introduction to QuickBooks – Course designed for small business owners who want to automate business finances – Registration for this course will start in February. Look for the flyer or our Facebook Post.
Introduction to Computers for Kids – This summer course gives students an introductory background in the hardware and software as well as history of the computer.
Coding for Kids – Also part of our summer component, students learn to code/program; each student will create at least one game and program at least one robot.
Build -a- Computer Class – During this summer component students learn various part of the hardware and take apart a computer. Using a kit, the will build their own computer and code it as well.
Homework Help Hours – The technology center is open to students to work on homework or school project during out of school hours.
