Our Programs

Project FAITHFORCE (Faithfully Asserting Initiative to Help Families Organize & Revitalize Community Empowerment) is Rebuilding Broken Places' community revitalization strategy. It is the core initiative that will lead the community to economic growth and revitalization, create employment opportunities and ultimately enhance the overall quality of life in the Greenleaf community. FAITHFORCE's long term goal is to identify and empower at least 10 families per year from the low income community to own their own home. The objective of FAITHFORCE is to provide a long term comprehensive strategy that delivers both qualitative and quantitative results.

Affordable Housing:
Faith Estates housing development located at Orange and Lime Streets in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This development consists of 16 single family homes on 6000 square foot lots. Homes will range between 1100 to 1200 square feet of heated space with up to ten floor plans to choose from. Ideal homes, for first time homebuyers and flood impacted families.

Harris Estates housing development -74 single-family homes located at Harris Street in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Homes range from 1050 to 1200 square feet of heated space with up to four floor plans to choose from. These are also ideal homes for first time homebuyers and flood impacted families.

• Downpayment and closing cost assistance is available to qualified buyers.

• Rebuilding Broken Places Homebuyer Education program includes credit counseling to help get prospective

Senior Citizen Housing:
RBPCDC in partnership with Greenleaf Christian Church received a $3M grant from the Dept of HUD to build a 41 unit apartment complex for senior citizens in the low-income community. Construction began in the fall of 2001 and was completed in the spring of 2002. This development is known as NBA Greenleaf Grace Village.

Christian Academy & Childcare Center:
As part of its mission to raise the education level of low-income citizens RPBCDC's pre-school/daycare will be unique in its vision and mission. This facility will educate 100 children (ages 0-5) from the low to moderate income community. Our program features fully certified teachers, low staff/child ratios, camera monitored class rooms,

Our Vision: Empower children, with a focus on low to moderate income families and prepare them for academic, artistic and social excellence. Once they reach school age we want our children to excel in their skill levels above and beyond the to often-accepted expectation of low performance.

Project YESS Academy 21st Century After School Program:

Providing quality academic tutoring, positive mentoring and empowering S.T.E.M. focused enrichment activities that result in an increase in self-confidence and academic success. Serving North Drive Elementary, School Street Elementary, Carver Heights Elementary and Dillard Middle School.

Apex School of Theology:

RBP is a learning site for Apex School of Theology, a fully accredited school where you can earn your degree.  Degrees offered:  Associates in Christian Ed., Bachelors in Theology, Masters in Divinity, Master in Christian Ed., Masters in Christian Counseling and Doctor of Ministry
